Painting Tips; Deck care for your painted deck surfaces
1) Allow a week of good hot sunny days for your deck to fully cure before placing furniture and chairs back on the deck surfaces
2.) Do not drag or scoot chairs, tables or other items across your freshly painted decking surfaces. As this may cause cracking and peeling of the paint.
3) Remove any standing water from the deck surfaces to avoid freezing and slick spot on your deck. During colder weather
4) In cases of a deck in constant direct sunlight and extreme heat. Avoid placing any items that can melt and stick to the painted deck flooring as this may peel off the finish. (Rubber tips on table or chair legs, etc.)
5) Remember that pets claws could also cause damage to your painted deck surface.
